Nathacia Olivier: Kick-starting a beauty dream

A skin condition that began in childhood drove Tembisa-born Nathacia Olivier in search of a natural solution. After trying numerous products, she discovered that certain foods healed her skin, and so she produced a beauty range that combined food compounds and essential oils, with healing properties and no harmful chemicals.

Using her savings and funds won through the SAB Kick Start Ignite and Gauteng Accelerator Township Economy competitions she launched Indoni Beauty in 2016. Indoni Beauty, which has been operating for almost a year now, has a skin and hair care range that includes body butters, hair and beard oils, body scrubs, a shampoo, hair conditioner, and body scrub to name a few.

Indoni is available in Gauteng and among its services it offers clients a free consultation for a facial map analysis that helps determine what works best for one’s skin type.

If you have a brilliant idea don’t just wait for the right season or moment to launch it or make it happen. You have to go out there and DO IT… Show the world and let it come alive, it may not be easy but its worth it and you’ll be learning so much, gaining so much knowledge that no parent or university can teach you.

Nathacia dreams of growing the business in communities through workshops and eventually establishing a skin health institute. She says: “I want to be remembered as someone who made a tangible difference and contributed in the well being of others.”

Nathacia you have certainly made your mark and we admire your vision and love your all natural Indoni Beauty range.
